LIBRARY OF CONGRESS OPEN ACCESS BOOKS - This is a growing collection of contemporary open access e-books. The books in this collection cover a wide range of subjects, including history, music, poetry, technology, and works of fiction. Most of the books in this collection were published in English, but there are some titles in other languages. All of the books in this collection were published under either an open access license or were donated to the Library of Congress with no accompanying restrictions. All of the books may be read online or downloaded as a PDF or as an EPUB.

OAPEN - Online library of open access books (OAPEN) promotes and supports the transition to open access for academic books by providing open infrastructure services to stakeholders in scholarly communication. We work with publishers to build a quality-controlled collection of open access books and provide services for publishers, libraries, and research funders in the areas of hosting, deposit, quality assurance, dissemination, and digital preservation.
