recommend a book

Book desiderata is a reference service in which the library encourages the faculty/subject specialists to suggest/recommend a title of a book to augment our existing collection. May it be a book with specific title and author or any book from a specific author or subject.

Books or any resource that are being suggested/recommended must be needed to support required readings of the core syllabus of respective curricular degree program offered by the university.

extended reading

Extended Reading allows patrons of Graduate School Library to borrow books from other library units beyond 5:00 PM through the librarian in-charge of Graduate School Library. Books from Filipiniana and Allied Science and Circulation units may be borrowed for room and home use. Books from Reference and Information Unit are strictly for room use only.

request a library orientation

Library orientation includes library tour and discussion of library's general background, library units and their services. 

Online database instruction provides lecture on the use of online databases subscribed by the library for patron's research purposes.

Faculty or group of patron may request a schedule of library orientation and online database instruction for their class. Moreover, individual patron who wishes to have a one-on-one library orientation/instruction may proceed and ask the assistance of the Librarian-in-charge of Reference and Information Unit.
